National Assembly welcomes the 10 De-suup volunteers back to office

The National Assembly of Bhutan today welcomed its 10 De-suups who were away for the last 50 days volunteering to assist the Royal Bhutan Army and other De-suup colleagues in the construction of a 400 bedded quarantine facility at Toorsa.

To celebrate the International Day of Democracy, the Hon’ble Deputy Speaker, Tshencho Wangdi participated in the Online Conference on the International Day of Democracy on the theme &ldquo Role of Legislature in Fostering Effective and Meaningful Democracy” organised by the Lok Sabha, India.
