The Public Accounts Committee meets with officials from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forests.

The Public Accounts Committee conducted a consultative meeting with the Ministry of Agriculture and Forests along with a team from the Royal Audit Authority (RAA) led by the Deputy Auditor General at the Lhen-zom Khangzang in the National Assembly  today.

The meeting was held to discuss the unresolved financial irregularities as reported in the Annual Audit Report 2020. Many issues were resolved during the meeting and the Ministry was  directed to submit necessary documents with justifications for the remaining unresolved issues to RAA on or before 30th September 2021. The concerned agencies were asked to follow up with the Royal Court of Justices with regard to the cases that are sub-judice.
