The Social and Cultural Committee of the National Assembly engaged in four days review meeting on the Royal Bhutan Police (Amendment) Bill 2021

Succeeding the series of extensive consultation meetings with the various relevant stakeholders, the Committee conducted a four days review meeting from 30th August to 2nd September 2021 to produce the first draft recommendation on the Royal Bhutan Police (Amendment) Bill 2021. The Committee comprehensively deliberated on the Bill considering the feedback received and issues raised by the stakeholders.

The Bill will be tabled for Third Reading in the upcoming winter session.
