The National Assembly proposes to form a Joint Committee to discuss the Mines and Minerals Bill of Bhutan 2020.

The National Assembly was set to re-deliberate on the amendments received from the National Council on the Mines and Minerals Bill of Bhutan 2020 today.

However, during the course of deliberation on the amendments, several members proposed that a Joint Committee be formed to discuss the Bill. The House through a majority show of hands endorsed the proposal.
