The Hon'ble Speaker also attended the presentation.

The presentation highlighted the details on the four sections: the ACC as an Institution, ACC’s performance, the resolutions of Parliament and challenges and recommendations. It included the Commission's priorities to further strengthen the ACC, its implementation status of the resolutions from the Second Session of the Third Parliament pertaining to ACC and the challenges faced by the Commission in carrying out its mandates.

The presentation was followed by an intensive question answer session. The Commissioner expressed her gratitude to the Parliament for always supporting the Commission.

Article 27 (4) of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Bhutan and the section 169 (1) of the Anti-Corruption Act of Bhutan (ACAB) 2011 mandates ACC to submit their annual report to the Parliament annually.

According to Transparency International – Corruption Perception Index (TI-CPI 2015-2019) in 2019, Bhutan stands as the 25th cleanest country among 180 countries.
