The House today continued the deliberation on the Mines and Mineral Bill of Bhutan
The House on consensus decided to name the mining regulatory authority as “Bhutan Mining Authority”. It also discussed the powers of the Ministry, powers and functions of the Department, composition, functions, quorum and decisions of the Board, functions of the Authority, code of conduct and Finance among others.
The deliberation on the Bill will be continued tomorrow.
