National Assembly sets Agenda for the Third Session of the Third Parliament.

The National Assembly of Bhutan conducted the preliminary meeting from 23 - 24 December, 2019 to discuss issues and set agenda for the upcoming Third Session of the Third Parliament. The preliminary meeting was presided by the Speaker.

The National Assembly will consider nine bills and two conventions during the session.

The preliminary meeting also discussed 31 petitions received from the Local Governments, of which 29 were referred to relevant ministries and 2 petitions regarding Farm Shop and Small Development Projects (SDP) and Common Minimum Infrastructure (CMI) flagship programme budgets under the Local Government Annual Budget will be deliberated in the Third Session.

The Third Session of the Third Parliament will commence from 15th January, 2020.
