The Israeli delegation led by Ms. Maya Kadosh,Charge d’affairs and interim (CDA) made a courtesy call on to the Hon’ble Speaker at the Gyelyong Tshogkhang today.
The Speaker welcomed the delegation to the Parliament and Bhutan. The Speaker also spoke briefly on the Parliament and Democracy in Bhutan. He said that under the wise guidance of His Majesty the King, the foundations of democracy has been firmly laid and is progressing very well. He also expressed his pleasure in meeting the delegation and hoped that the good will and relations between the two countries will continue.
Ms. Maya Kadosh thanked the Speaker for meeting her and the delegation. She expressed her interest in furthering the good relations that the two countries enjoyed through support in technology, health and agricultural sector.
The delegation is here in Bhutan from 10-13th December 2018.
