Kuwait Ambassador to Bhutan H.E. Fadel Haider Saud Alhasan calls on Hon Speaker

The Kuwait Ambassador to Bhutan H.E Fadel Haider Saud Alhasan called on the Hon Speaker in the Gyelyong Tshogkhang today.

The Speaker welcomed the Ambassador to Bhutan and said that Bhutan have had diplomatic relations since 1983 and accords immense importance to its relations with Kuwait especially the strong level of friendly relations enjoyed by the two countries and in particular, the exceptional friendship shared by the two Royal families.

A discussion on wide range of issues including good governance, decentralization, and issues of mutual interests was held. The Speaker underlined the need to further strengthen parliamentary ties and support from the Kuwait government on developmental projects and in hosting international conferences.

The Kuwait Ambassador appreciated the sentiments of the Speaker and acknowledged that Bhutan has always been a good friend of Kuwait. The Ambassador assured his Government’s all-out support to Bhutan in diverse fields.
