Constituency Visit

The Hon’ble Members from Chhoekhor-Tang Dawa and Chhumig-Ura Karma Wangchuk are currently in their constituencies starting from 17 August to 9  September 2023. 

During the visit the Members attended the Dzongkhag Tshogdu session on 21st August. They met with the people of Chummig Gewog on 23rd August. They have scheduled to visit all the gewogs and meet the public till 9th September. Apart from discussion on the issues from their constituents, the Members will advocate on the resolutions of the Ninth Session and discuss the Planned activities. 

The Members also attended the Mushroom Festival held at Ura Gewog center.

As Members of the National Assembly, the MPs have the mandate to represent their constituency and resolve or bring issues for deliberation in the Assembly, conduct oversight and monitor the development activities and legislate laws.
