....The National Assembly re-deliberated on the amendments and 7 general recommendations received from the National Council on the Supplementary Budget Appropriation Bill for the FY 2019-20 and Budget Appropriation Bill for the FY 2020-21.
....After a thorough deliberation on the Budget for the FY 2020-21 concerning allocation of budget for farm road, flagship programs, common minimum infrastructure, and cold storage constructions, the Finance Minister presented the two Budget Bills for adoption to the House. The Economics and Finance Committee resubmitted the clarification that the CMI budget of Nu. 42.597 million was for Phankhar Gewog and not Ngangla Gewog as reflected in the report.
....The Chairperson for the Economics and Finance Committee, Member from Athang_Thedtsho constituency presented the Review Report on the National Budget for the Financial Year 2020-21 to the House today.
....Bhutan’s Ambassador Designate to the Republic of Bangladesh, Ambassador Rinchen Kuentsyel and Mr. Kencho Thinley, Trade Attache, called on the Hon’ble Speaker today before leaving for Bangladesh.
....During the Presentation of the Annual Budget 2020-21 to the House by the Finance Minister on 1 June 2020, the Supplementary Appropriation Bill for the FY 2019-2020 for a sum not exceeding Nu. 903.277 million was also tabled for re-deliberation.
....In accordance with Article 14, Section 8 of the Constitution of Bhutan and on Royal Kasho to resume the Third Session to discuss the Budget, the Finance Minister presented the National Budget for the FY 2020-21, Budget Appropriation Bill for the FY 2020-21, Supplementary Budget Appropriation Bill for the FY 2019-20 to the House today.

....His Excellency Tshogpon Wangchuk Namgyel graced the opening Ceremony of the 39th Batch De-sung integrated Training Program at Tencholing, Wangdiphodrang on 04 May,2020.
....Acknowledging the impact of the COVID-19 on the Employment and relevant issues, the Parliamentary Committee for COVID-19 Preparedness and Response met with the Minister and officials from Labour and Human Resources today. This is in alignment to the Committee trying to comprehend the preparedness of the Government in response to COVID-19 and to enable the Committee to provide better support.
....The Parliamentary Committee has been meeting with various Ministries and relevant agencies to understand the preparedness of the Government in response to COVID-19 and to enable the Committee to provide better support.
