Re-deliberation on the Penal Code (Amendment) Bill of Bhutan 2019 concludes

The House continued the re-deliberation today on the amendment recommendations on the Penal Code (Amendment) Bill of Bhutan 2019  received  from National Council on the Sections pertaining to Offences Against Infant,

The Member from Bardo-Trong constituency, Hon’ble Gyambo Tshering moved the motion on the need to bring   Farm Shops, Power Tiller Services, Fuel and LPG depots, and Community Information Centres under Gewog Administration to ensure effective service delivery to the people in the House today. The Member from Jomotshngkha-Martshala constituency, Hon’ble Norbu Wangzom moved the motion on the need to relocate some Government Offices, Department and Institutions to other regions and Dzongkhags to ensure equitable regional development, and to avoid overcrowding of capital city. Minister for the Economic Affairs presents a Report on Hydropower Projects Master

As a follow up to the resolutions of the National Assembly,  the  Economic Affairs Minister presented the report on Power System Master Plan 2040 to the House today. The Minister reported that considering the improved access and availability of improved hydro-meteorological data in addition to the advancement in study methodology and survey technique, Power System Master Plan 2004 (PSMP-2004) was updated to PSMP 2040.

Minister for Labor and Human Resources presents Report on the National Policy for Persons With Disabilities 2019

As a follow up on the resolution of the Second Session of the Third Parliament, the Minister for Labor and Human Resources  on behalf  of the Prime Minister presented the Report on the National Policy for Persons with Disabilities 2019 to the House today.
