The Chairperson of the Human Rights and Foreign Relations Committee, Hon’ble Passang Dorji (Ph.D.) submitted the Committee’s recommendations on the Bill along with the amendments from the National Council.

....The Chairperson of the Economics and Finance Committee, Hon’ble Kinley Wangchuk presented the Committee’s 39 recommendations on the Fiscal Incentives Bill of Bhutan 2021. The Chairperson submitted that most of the recommendations are on clerical errors and translation.
....The Member In-Charge of the Bill, Minister for Agriculture and Forests introduced the Forest and Nature Conservation Bill of Bhutan 2021 for First and Second Reading today.
....The Chairperson of the Legislative Committee, Hon’ble Tshewang Lhamo presented the Committee’s recommendations on the three Money Bills, the Customs Duty (Amendment) Bill of Bhutan 2021, the Tax Bill of Bhutan 2021, and the Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Bill of Bhutan 2021.
....The Third Reading of the Biodiversity Bill of Bhutan 2021 commenced today. The Chairperson of the Environment and Climate Change Committee, Hon’ble Gyambo Tshering presented the Committee’s 88 recommendations on the Bill. The Chairperson submitted that the Committee conducted various stakeholder meetings and field visits to review the Bill.
....The Social and Cultural Committee reported back to the House with the report on the review of Sections 41(c), 71, and 72. The House supported the proposal of the Committee on duties of the Royal Bhutan Police to “detect cases, identify offenders and where appropriate, apprehend offenders, investigate and forward the cases to the Office of the Attorney General for Prosecution”.
A total of nine oral questions were raised to the Ministers during Question Hour today.
....The House continued the deliberation on the Royal Bhutan Police (Amendment) Bill 2021 today.
The Fiscal Incentives Bill of Bhutan 2021 was tabled for First and Second Reading today. The motion for leave to introduce the Bill was moved by the Member In-Charge of the Bill.
