....The Member In-Charge of the Fiscal Incentive (Amendment) Bill of Bhutan 2020, Hon’ble Finance Minister moved the motion for adoption of the Bill after the House re-deliberated on all the recommendations from National Council.

....Responding to the question on the status of the Government’s pledge of maternity allowance, the Health Minister reported that the required plans and preparations for rolling out the Maternity allowance is almost completed and it will be rolled out within a year. The National Assembly concluded the deliberation on the Lhengye Zhungtshog Bill of Bhutan, 2020 today. The House deliberated on all the ten Chapters of the Bill along with the recommendations of the Human Rights and Foreign Relations Committee in three consecutive sittings.
The Lhengye Zhungtshog Bill of Bhutan 2020 will be put up for adoption tomorrow, 9th December, 2020.
....The National Assembly continued the deliberation on the Lhengye Zhungtshog Bill of Bhutan, 2020. The House deliberated on Chapters regarding powers, functions and responsibilities, privileges and immunities, code of conduct, offences and penalties and dissolution of the Lhengye Zhungtshog.
