The Minister for Work and Human Settlement was questioned on the implementation plan of  construction of Sarpang-Lhamoizingkha Highway, status of the Government’s pledge to construct about 2500 low rent apartments and clarification on the construction of Shingkhar-Gorgan Highway.

Minister for the Economic Affairs presents a Report on Hydropower Projects Master

As a follow up to the resolutions of the National Assembly,  the  Economic Affairs Minister presented the report on Power System Master Plan 2040 to the House today. The Minister reported that considering the improved access and availability of improved hydro-meteorological data in addition to the advancement in study methodology and survey technique, Power System Master Plan 2004 (PSMP-2004) was updated to PSMP 2040.

As per Chapter 20, Section 193,  of the National Assembly Act of  Bhutan 2008, the Chairperson of the Social and Cultural Committee, Hon’ble Ugen Tenzin, Member from Bji-Kar-Tshog-Uesu Constituency  re-tabled the Minister and Minister Equivalent Post Holder’s Entitlement Bill of Bhutan 2019. The Bill was resubmitted  from the National Council .

Minister for Labor and Human Resources presents Report on the National Policy for Persons With Disabilities 2019

As a follow up on the resolution of the Second Session of the Third Parliament, the Minister for Labor and Human Resources  on behalf  of the Prime Minister presented the Report on the National Policy for Persons with Disabilities 2019 to the House today.
