Women’s Leadership Summit, celebrating International Women’s Day.

Yesterday, Hon’ble Speaker Wangchuk Namgyel participated in the Women’s Leadership Summit organized by the National Commission for Women and Children to celebrate the International Women’s Day and  50th Anniversary of Bhutan’s Membership with the United Nation.  Hon’ble Dil Maya Rai was also present in the celebration.

His Excellency commended Bhutan on successfully combating COVID-19 Pandemic under the wise leadership of His Majesty the King. He also expressed his deep appreciation to His Majesty the Druk Gyalpo for the support provided to the Mission and staff during the lockdown.
