....Seven questions were raised to the Ministers in Group C today. Three Questions to the Minister for Economic Affairs, three to Finance Minister and one question to the Minister for Labour and Human Resources.
....The National Assembly of Bhutan deliberated on the National Council’s recommendation to withdraw the adoption of the Goods and Services Tax Bill of Bhutan 2020. The National Council had recommended that until all the necessary systems are ready and in place, including training of staff and creating public awareness the Bill be withdrawn. It also recommended that the amendment of the Public Finance (Amendment) Act 2012 be introduced.
....The Chairperson of the Legislative Committee, Member from Bongo-Chapchha Constituency presented the Committee’s recommendations on the repeal Sections proposed by the National Council.

....During the deliberation, the House felt that exemption of Tourism Levy for the listed Dzongkhags would not benefit in promoting tourism in those Dzongkhags. The Members proposed doing away with the exemption of the Tourism Levy for all the Dzongkhags. The House through majority show of hands repealed Section 8 on the Exemption of Tourism Levy and Annexure I deciding to levy the Sustainable Development Fee (SDF) to all 20…....
