Public Accounts Committee conducts stakeholder consultation on audit issues in the South

In preparation for the coming Summer Session of Parliament, the Members of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) are in the South conducting stakeholder consultation on audit issues after completing the same in the Central and Eastern regions.

The Committee today met with the officials from the Regional Revenue and Custom Office at Phuentsholing and discussed the unresolved financial irregularities reported in the Annual Audit Reports.

The PAC has the constitutional mandate to review the Annual Audit Report and report to the Parliament.
