Visit to National Assembly


Proceedings of National Assembly Sessions are open to the public. The Public Entrance is through gate III of the Gyelyong Tshokhang building. Visitors who drive can find ample parking space within the compound of the Gyelyong Tshokhang(SAARC building). The entrance of the public car park is through gate II from main road.

The dates of Parliament sittings are announced through the media and our website. The sittings commence at 9:30 AM and continue until 1:00 PM with a short break at 11 AM. Admission cards are issued on a first-come-first-served basis at the Public Entrance by the Security personnel. Visitors should bring along their identity card and a letter from the respective organization (if employed) to produce their entry card. Visitors are not allowed to carry any items, such as sharp metals, electronics and the eatables at any time inside the hall.
