Call on to the Hon’ble Speaker by the seven-member high level delegation led by the Attorney General, Sri Lanka

The Hon’ble Speaker today met with the seven-member high level delegation led by the Attorney General of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka who are here in Bhutan  learn from the tools, techniques and best practices and experiences of Bhutan in preventing and combating corruption.  

 

Welcoming the delegation, comprised  of the Secretary to the President, Commissioner and Director General of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC), Secretary to the Special Presidential Task Force on Recovery of State Assets and two Secretaries of the Ministry of Public Administration and Management and the Ministry of Provincial Council and Local Government, the Hon’ble Speaker underscored the good relations between the two countries and between the two Parliament. The Speaker, expressed the strong commitment of the Parliamentarians in fighting corruption in the country.

 

The delegation also visited the National Assembly Hall.
