Annual RAA’s Reports Tabled in the Joint Sitting Today

As per the Section 5, Article 25 of the Constitution, the Royal Audit Authority submitted its Annual Audit Report 2015 along with Performance Audit Reports on: Gewog Development Grant, Disaster Management, and Business Income Tax Administration 2016.

 

Unlike in the past, the procedure of tabling RAA’s Report to the Parliament was streamlined by tabling the Reports to all the members in the house, an hour before the presentation…....

The Chairperson of the Legislative Committee introduced the Bhutan Red Cross Society Bill 2016 for First and Second Reading to the National Assembly today. As per the Rules of procedure, the Minister of Communication and Information, moved the motion in the house today for adoption of the Civil Aviation Bill 2015. Minister informed the house that there has been extensive consultation outside of the house and intensive deliberation in the house on the bill since 5th session.
