Prime Minister Presents Annual State of the Nation Report to the Parliament

As per article 10 (10) of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Bhutan, the Prime Minister Lyonchhen Dr. Lotay Tshering presented the Annual Report on the State of the Nation including legislative plans and priorities of the Government to the Joint Sitting of the  Parliament today.

The Members of the National Assembly led by the Speaker were on a 3-day industrial visit to Wangduephodrang from 14 – 16 June 2019. The sole purpose of the visit was to facilitate Members of the National Assembly to get first-hand information for oversight on the implementation status of Punatsnangchhu-I & II Hydroelectric Projects and the Wangdue Dzong Reconstruction project and the associated challenges.
