Deliberation concludes on the Multilateral Agreement for Establishment of Think Tank for Landlocked Countries

Today the House concluded its deliberation on the Multilateral Agreement for Establishment of Think Tank for Landlocked Countries. The deliberation on the Agreement had resumed after some of the Members on 17th May submitted that related documents of the Agreement should be made available to the House before further deliberation. The Almaty Programme of Action and the Vienna Programme of Action were subsequently circulated to the Members.

Today, the Foreign Minister introduced the Multilateral Agreement for the Establishment of Think Tank for Land Locked Development Countries in the House. The Finance Minister today presented the Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism Bill 2017 in the House. The Bill has been endorsed by the House for the third reading after the Finance Minister submitted on the objectives and principles of the Bill. He said that once the Bill is passed, it would benefit in matters pertaining to FDI and ease of doing business among others.
